Nagios configuration tools
though nagios is a nifty tool, setting up the equipment to be monitored is a real painful process. of course this is not the tools issue, it is just laziness on my part, kind of dislike filling up a config file using vi and punching in ip address etc..
so my laziness lead me on a quest for finding out if there are simpler methods of doing this...
ahhh a plethora of tools each with it own quirks in configuration.
the first one it tried out was nagmin, nagat talked about it last time. still not sure about using this.
then i tried nagisoweb
then i tried fruity , this one seem to be the way to go...very simple to use, product is still in the initial stages. (i had downloaded .51 version and then i saw .60 and will working on this, 0.65 was released) .THIS WOULD BE THE PRODUCT TO KEEP AN EYE OUT.
A funny name for a product but it is really doing what it is supposed to. Thanks Fruity!
